thoughts on Yugioh ZeXal

I just saw the first episode & it's cutesy.
The opening theme is kinda catchy, it sounds like something from a DDR mix.

but seriously, it's cute how every young duelist has their own personalized scouter. I'll stick to calling their d-gazers scouters. Kootori's scouter is cute. it looks like they're playing Duel Monsters on the 3DS.
also the voices from the gate Yuuma unlocks sound like the demons from Inuyasha. It's funny how Yuuma is as clumsy as Sailor Moon, and just as energetic. but then again he is the youngest protagonist yet.

So far it doesn't have much in the way of a plot line yet, and it's targeted to a much younger audience. (the overabundance of bright colors for one thing)
